Thank you all for your interest in this art. A couple people asked about the frame. The frame was from a 150 year old log hunting lodge in cherryville Missouri on the Courtouis River. It hung over the stone fireplace for as long As I can remember & that's 68 years. It had a charcoal sketch of a Steamboat on the Mississippi River that said it was at Cairo Illinois. I still have the sketch somewhere. Thanks

Here is a picture of the Codaway river & a mill that is still in existence at Cherryville. The lodge is gone , it was a few hundreds yards from the mill , situated on a bluff top. We use to dig up dozens of Arrowheads every spring planting the garden.
