Cast Sterling

A man came to the Museum to show me some of his work. He makes cast Sterling things. He made some casts of a few Artifacts he has found here in Snyder County pa.. I thought I'd share them with you. Pretty neat aren't they? He is going to do one of my finds. K

Wow, that’s beautiful! Wish I could see how he does it.

He makes a cast from sand, I don't what he mixes together to make the sand cast hard. He than pours molten silver into the mold, let's it cool than trims the excess and polishes it.
