Yeah Jeffery, I pick up bottles too when I can find good ones. Some of the sites I used to hunt had old dumps in ravines. I haven't found many in the last few years and I actually sold most of my bottle collection a while back.

Medicine bottles and occasional milk bottle. Found a glass 2 litre bottle, with a coca cola lid once.

I go out with groups and dig intentionally in dumps for them.
I don't keep many of them anymore just too many to keep them all.
I like the milk bottle. The embossed ones I keep.

I pick up everything, LOL.  And we dig old dumps when we can.  I bet almost everyone on here collects bottles!
Don't even get me started on old historic sherds and shards, got boxes of 'em!

I have only found pieces of the pistol.
The candy bottles are the bottle of choice that I look for.
The "sweet potato" and bennington marble are keepers too.
The little Coke bottles,...I remember them at the State Fair of Texas as a youngster.
Novelty bottles just make me want to build another addition to my man cave...
