    I have had the privilege of detecting some Ute historic campsites. Here are some that sill need to be displayed.

    Seeing all those nails, knife and spoon Chase it reminds me of the crapanium I find in modern parks. :rolf:
    Are those cap containers for cap and ball black powder firearms?

      Bruce , those nails are awls, most were forged by the Ute's and yes on the Cap and ball.
      Here is a frame with a lead ball maker in the center of the frame.

      Look to the ground for it holds the past!
