  • The ground was stiff and so were my fingers.

It never got above freezing today. So I just had to warm up the body.
    The spirits were fine.

Pun intended because even though the targets were few the finds were pretty good today.
Small pile of junk for recycle.

    A not bad clad day.

My deepest target at 6" is intriguing.

    And wafer thin.

The silver was good to me today. Not one over 4" deep.

In about 1921 Canadian silver changed from 90% to 80% silver. Our coins were silver until 1967. In 1968 about 50% were silver then they went to clad coins. Your coins were 90% silver until 1964 I believe. Our silver coins ring in exactly like a copper penny so if you want to dig silver here you dig a tone of pennies. I have close to 130 silver coins so far this year. And over 11000 pennies.  Oh well that's $110.00 in the bank and great exercise to boot.

I have tried bourbon but never acquired the taste for it. Scotch, rum, tequila, rhy all on ice are my bone warmers of choice  :woohoo:
