  • Never give up, never say die!

How many of you have seen this in the hole and it turned out to be a destroyed porcelain pot?

Well I will get back to this later. Crappy stuff first you know. :rolf:
I really thought I had another silver button. Alas stupid white metal.

Another cap gun that was to late to save. Still fun to find.

Also found another famous BC piece pipe.

I find quite a few compacts but this one is in decent shape.

    Some more gas money.

I did manage one silver piece.

Now back to that first picture.
When I first saw the porcelain I almost quit digging but this one was flat.
Being flat I knew it was not another pot and thought instead that it was a sign.
Took me 15 minutes or so to wiggle it out from under all of the rocks that had been piled on top of it.
But I also think that the rocks saved it in as good a condition as it is.
The rocks provided drainage so the metal didn't totally rust away.

The plate is cool. I took a road trip through BC in 1973, I've always wondered where I lost that pipe!
          It is identical!
