Of working a site that has seen over a hundred years of use is that you have to deal with a lot of garbage.
Both old.
A pile of lead, the golf ball is there for size comparison.

And new.
Screw caps sound soooo good.


And the inevitable pile O pennies.

This was my oldest penny today.

If you fight through the c-rap though you can usually find something interesting.
This one I thought was white gold due to hitting the CTX at 12/12 but just stainless.

Forks (at least for me) sound horrible. This one was silver plated at one time.

I also pulled another sash buckle. This one is silver plated.
