And I was back at the same park as the Friday the 13th hunt.
The lawnmower was hungry today.
And coins were not the only thing on it's diet.
This time I had another partner. Shooter McGavin aka Jon (from the Canadian Metal Detecting site) had asked where he could hunt to find old coins like I was finding.
I told him about this place and said that there was no way I had got them all and that I would be returning sometime soon.
Well Friday he showed up not long after I did. He went one way even though I showed him where I had found the old coins.
The first keeper also had a run in with the lawnmower.

And when I pulled the 2nd one I went over and called Jon to see before I removed it from the plug.

Eventually I convinced him to hunt on this side of the park then I proceeded to find this little ring.
Jon never did actually hunt in the area I pointed out so after he left I did.

And I finished the day with this. Unfortunately it's plated and not real gold. Still though it was a fun find.
