Yesterday I only made it out for an hour or so due to the rain but I did manage 1 small silver ring.


  Today it rained all day but by noon I just had to get out of the house.
Totally soaked by 5:30 but I had fun anyway.
Recyclables.

Today started out just right. This is from a little town in Saskatchewan about 1,846 km from here. Apparently they do have a dog catcher. :crazy:


This was followed by a nice Naval officers button.

And judging from the deterioration on the back and knowing this site as I do I'd say that this is no later than late 1940s

After that I found 2 small bells.


And this lump.

Which after tumbling turned out to be half of a silver locket that the lawnmower ate.

  I finished off the day with this well worn dime.

i gotta say you are definetly committed to your hobby to go out in the rain for that long
and nice to see you dont leave the garbage lay after you find it
i collect garbage when i hunt on public land,i hate seeing other peoples trash on our public hunting lands

All of the trash I post has been dug but I do also pick up surface trash and through it in the nearest garbage bin. Otherwise I would have no room in my finds bag for the good stuff. :crazy:  So I hear you on the trash issue.  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:
