Digging is getting harder as the ground dries out.

Some of the sites I hit are clay based and when they dry it's almost impossible to dig.
As you can see by the lack of targets 4hrs got me today.

But the day did start out nice with this being the third target of the day.

No markings but it looks quite old.


The second keeper of the day was this 1901 IH


Third one out of the gate was this 59.

Then I found another lighter.The cleaned up picture is in the first shot.

  The last keeper of the day was another silver ring.


  By then my hand was getting sore from forcing the digger into the ground so I called it a day.
