          the hallmarks are 2 beavers and 2 feathered crowns / fleur de lis from my research its from the Montreal area. as you can see the beavers are facing away from the crown this represents being of French origin since the French despised the British. if it was of English design the beaver would be facing toward the feathered crown. but I have yet to find the name of the exact silversmith that designed the ring..it is a hard one to solve very little info on the silversmiths of that time era in Canada and the U.S.A
