This is a post of my weekends finds.
Saturday was fun but Sunday was a slog.
On Saturday Jim from Duncan came down.
Unfortunately though he had to bow out early when his headphones crapped out.
Needles to say garbage was removed. And recyclables were collected.
That lead pipe took a while to wiggle out of the 12" deep hole. Gas was paid for and a nice little Lesney jeep was saved. Just before Jim had to leave this little bent beauty showed up in some fill. After he left this came from a boulevard.

And these came from the third location of the day. I cast all about to see if the other earring was nearby but failed to pick it up.
And yes the pearl is real. Sunday was a slog as I said earlier.
A few miles were put in on the old boots and only two keepers were found.
There is no logical reason for why I like these but I do. This one is too flimsy to be for suspenders so I am thinking that it is a garter clip.

Hey Bruce, Is the necklace a combo of ancient and modern? The beads look a lot like ancient Marpole Phase stone beads. Those ancient beads have been discovered in your area.

Ron at first I thought that you were pulling my leg but then I looked up Marpole Phase stone beads and realized that you were being serious.
They look a little to uniform to me to be natural but I am not trained in identification. I will test them later with my pinpointer to see if they are metal or not.
by the way there is a site not 5 miles from my home that was identified as Locarno Beach/Marpole
