This was originally posted on my other forum March 11th.
This is just a quick catch up post.
And an update on what's been happening over the last three weeks.
On Monday March 7th I only managed to get 1 hour of swing time in.
and in that hour I only managed 12 targets. This was one of them. On Tuesday I got out for a few hours with Mike. When I texted him my location I added a pic of these that came out together. It didn't take him long to show up. Nothing special was found after that but I did manage an unusual pair of pennies from one hole near the end. Wednesday it was pack the bags and head for the ferry and an overnight stay at the Moose's place.
It is a good thing that I am an early riser because he had overslept his alarm and had to boogie off to work.
I lucked out on Thursday as I had a 500+ kilometer drive through the mountains ahead of me to worry about.
I have no snow tires on the car and although there was plenty of snow around the roads were good. I am now sitting up here at Edgewood having a nice quiet evening with Micheal and his wife Alice.
Earlier in the day we were putting things together for a garage sale that he is having on Saturday but we snuck out for some good old bonding time. He says that I was the winner by finding a 45 wheat penny and this. But I disagree. His 14K gold tipped fountain pen is pretty sweet.
