My little piece of paradise is surrounded by the ocean Kurt, and really helps to moderate our climate.
Not overly hot in the summer and very seldom below freezing in the winter.

Hard to imagine but that's better than forecast in the heartland way south of you

I detest the time change & walking down for the mail in the dark. I keep reminding myself that in six weeks it will be the winter solstice & the days will start getting longer.
You know it’s the opposite for us here . Just can’t wait till the 3rd week off Oct . Earth tilts just enough from the sun that you can walk at 4pm and not get burnt . We get 6 months of bliss then back to early mornings and late night walks for summer .
Fun fact,,, no day light savings time here . Sunset at 7.30 in summer sunset 6.30 pm winter ( that’s it )
Deb it’s still 8 out of 10 UV

I look forward to those days getting longer too Deb. And please bring back the heat.

Your guess is as good as mine on the Uncle Sam suspender clip.
It is either 1888 or 1898? Click image for larger version Name:	10.jpg Views:	1 Size:	450.2 KB ID:	270661

    Well I was right.
It was rather rude of mother nature to do this.
