  • Knappable Quartzite

    Johnny sent me some Tallahatta Quartzite. This rock is a lot different than the quartzite I found here in the U.P. This stone is fun to work. I knapped a 3.5 inch point in a short time. Thanks Johnny

          That's georgous! I love how the flakes feather out making it look molded into shape instead of knapped. Really pretty stuff!

            Looks better than the quartzite points I've found here on the coast. Beautiful!
