Dart Point / Abo Tools

Not one of my pretty points :-)
I have spent little time with Abo Tools but was looking for a challenge today.
Moose Billet, Whitetail flaker, and Sandstone Abrader were my only tools.

The last time I tried abo, I popped my wrist out of place. You did a fine job, and with a bit more practice, you could rival the ancients!

Thanks Ethan, You might have already learned this: I support my left wrist on the inside of my left knee. My leg muscles are a lot stronger than my wrist so this support is always important.

I found that out the hard way. I was pushing very hard to pop a flake off, while supporting the piece improperly, and that force went right up my wrist. That hurt.

Hi Ron. You always do a super job even with tools that seem primitive. I'm not a knapper but just thinking maybe those are the tools the old folks used.
