  • No Pressure

    It's fun to do something a little different once in a while.
    This four inch blade was knapped with no pressure flaking.
    And yet it is sharp and would work fine without the edge work.

      That’s reminiscent of a couple of Florida styles, I think the broad random flaking is just right for that point...How thin is it.

        Thanks Hal, Pressure flaking would have thinned is more but it's thin enough. I'll post a picture below.

              Hey Lawrence, That was three hits. I was trying to thin that area and didn't get what I wanted. Well at least I'm happy I didn't over do it and mess up the edge. You can see the ridge I was trying to run.
