    Turkeytail Fulton;
    (Description from Overstreets) Midwestern to Eastern States. (Discription) Late Archaic to Woodland 4000 – 2500 BP. A medium to large size, wide, thin, elliptical blade, with shallow notches very close to the base. This type is usually found in caches and has been reproduced in recent years. Made by the Adena culture.
    The material is a local stone. I wish I knew where I could more of it. It is a sedimentary rock and has the consistency of Catlinite. It sure has a lot going for it. Striations, polka dots and splotches. Just beautiful. Copied from an Overstreets picture.
