    I thought I had used all of my Lassen Creek.
    I didn't even know what this was until I started flaking it.

      Very nice color, can you take me to school on the material? Is that considered collateral flaking? The flaking across the base adds a really nice finishing touch

        Thanks Jeb, Well I guess it's kinda collateral. Lassen Creek is an obsidian from a mountain in North Eastern California. I took small angular flakes on the base: kinda looks like it's stitched.

          Man That sure is pretty stuff Ron. I'd like to have a piece of the obsidian. Maybe we can work a deal for a piece of scraps. K
