  • 3¼” Lanceolate Point from Greg’s S. Mich. Chert

    I didn't lose any length but I did remove more material than I intended.
    Still I believe this would be a very efficient dart point.
    I hope to get more points and will include the spall or core:

    That does look pretty ancient. You managed to get it thin even though it wasn’t a slab. Very nice.👍

      Thanks Caleb, When I started flaking this one I thought it would be a wider point. Getting it thin enough is why I ended up with a rather narrow lanceolate point.

    Wow! I would have thought you couldn't get all of that out of that nasty, lumpy chunk of chert. You got serious skills Ron, way to go!
