I love gravel! Someone already did the digging, and can surface hunt. After all, regardless whether big filler pile or long driveway or even parking lot median ophthalmologist’s landscaper created, may hold treasures more special than just pretty rocks!Last edited by Cecilia; 03-08-2022, 06:19 PM.Digging in GA, ‘bout a mile from the Savannah River

Part of my small fleet of Great Lakes boats. The one pictured was handmade in the 40s and is unnamed. I do have models of the Fitz as well but they are production models. Being from Michigan The Lakes are kind of a thing for us folks. I’ll post some more pics after work. Not sure how to post bigger pics though. Thanks for taking a lookUncle Trav- Southwest Michigan

The first photo is a production model of the Edmund Fitzgerald. The second photo is a desk model of the Fitz. The third photo is an unnamed freighter model is handmade by folks with learning disabilities at a school in the UP and is very welcomed in my small collection. The fourth boat is a handmade model of the SS Governor Miller. A Great Lakes ore boat. The last is a fantastic model of the steamer SS Manitou. Misspelled on the bow but a spot on copy of the boat. It’s a small fleet but I love the lore of The Lakes. Sorry for the double pics. Still trying to figure out the attachment thing.Uncle Trav- Southwest Michigan
