    I looked it up its actually called Bilateral Gynadromorphs . This one had more male traits a female showed up and he went after her.

          Great observation, I will have to start paying attention to these birds here. I see at least a dozen pairs daily where I feed birds about a gallon of grains from my chicken feed a mix of milo,cracked corn,whole corn and black oil sunflower seeds. Thrown out on the ground like I'm feeding chickens they flock to it and would eat twice that much if I put it down. Been feeding birds this way since 1998 daily and at times I try to count them all but close to 50 on the ground I loose track of them
