My Back Yard

It was a beautiful day today so I figured I'd get a pic off the back deck. Well the trees had grown up so much that I couldn't see through. So I says to myself, self - get up on the roof and take your pics. So I did and here ya are:

Yup Johnny - It's one of the reasons we bought this place. It's remote, the view is great and the neighbors are like family. Typical Tennesseans - everyone helps and looks out for each other.

The changing of the leaves in fall is one thing that I have really missed while living on the west coast.

I had to laugh when you said you were on your roof . Sure enough I can see that .
Well this is my favorite time of year . Mother Nature take a break and takes it easy in some ways . She leaves us with her message she is going to sleep with all these beautiful colors . I pick up the leaves and put them in frames I love them so much .

Thanks Gary - bet you got some beautiful scenery out your way also. My brother and I went on a road trip in 1964 and passed through S. Dakota. Think we stayed on 90 west and visited Mt. Rushmore and the Black hills. Kinda like reenacting the Rt 66 TV series..
