“Back-lit” through curtains. We have a small window mounted nectar feeder, so we have hummingbirds constantly all spring & summer. Cheap feeder is a small miracle. 👍🏻😄

Beautiful, I only ever saw one blue bird some years back, around Gainesville Florida...when I was about 12 years old my dad asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I was looking in the window of the western auto store, and said, that book of birds, one of the best times and gifts I ever received.your pic. brought back memories.

I feed/water the birds around here, might be the wrong thing but they seem like they appreciate it. I love to watch the hummingbirds , didn’t have many this go... TY for the pics !

Male Downy is right. The bird with cardinals and bluebirds is a Flicker...another wood pecker.

My little brother (not so young anymore) was what I called”bird freak”; he called me “rock freak”. He had little eight-track, and listened to bird calls all the time. Can still tell me what bird songs are.

Your hummingbird picture is worthy of a photography award.
