But I took a couple of pictures of some shelters. One is still standing and the other has collapsed. The one still standing I've found artifacts downstream like points and a piece of drilled soapstone. But when you look at the enlarged pic you can see something is living in it by the trail. I bet it opens up on the inside but I will never know.

You should grab your sleeping bag, curl up in there over night, see what stops by. 🙂Last edited by flintguy; 11-06-2020, 05:48 PM.Central Ohio

I need one of you brave guys to come visit and adventure inside. There is another shelter further down but sits on almost a cliff I believe one of you guys can slip in. Owner told me about a property he purchased and I have to walk to it past the shelters. He said you go up the old roadbed following the trail cross over a big ravine and climb the next mountain and it's on the top. I haven't been yet cause it's so over grown I can't hardly find the road. Make a wrong turn and its 25 miles before you hit another road. Hard to believe but I can't find anyone to go with me.NW Georgia,

You need a skinny, brave hunting partner. Which I have none of those qualifications, lol.South Carolina
