  With only 54 European Bison I would say they are still very close to becoming an extinct species.
Beautiful animals and it's great they are being reintroduced into a British wildlife park.

there's a herd of 70 bison up near gainsville fl. they are moving them because as they say to many people moving into that area and someone may get hurt, i've driven pass that area for years and have only seen them twice, the name of the spot is bolen bluff don't that just make you want to get out and beat the brush, ts
