Well, who wouldn’t want to come across a pink fairy armadillo in the wild?

How wonderful! We call regular ones possums-on-a-half-shell here. When woods down the street got torn up for strip mall, one came to my yard, and Dog came and got me. That lil fella got up on his hind legs, clawed at patio door! I took some scraps to far back yard, and he hung around back there for about a month.

That strip mall has a Petco, and I watched one claw at door there, too. Aren’t they fascinating!? ….like lil dinosaurs….And this one is pink!

Really! My wife said “strangest critter I’ve ever seen”. I’m like, “yes, until the next one shows up, lol”.

The pink ones have a lot better flavor than their larger cousins which have a chicken teriyaki smell when cooked

when I was about 4 years old my dad handed me a squirrell leg. He said eat that it tastes just like chicken. I took a bite and said this tastes more like ribs to me. Dad looked down at me and said well your Mom must have cooked it wrong.
