Dalton's are among my favorite point types and I have a few keepers to share here. The super fine point center top, was found in Lawrence Co. TN, the others are all from Missouri. Not sure about the material.

c_venture- yea the one on the middle left has some nice beveling and the one in the lower right definitely has some character for sure. I have often wondered if that one started life as a clovis and was re-purposed later.

The Large 6 1/2” Dalton fishtail is made from Arkansas black pitkin chert but was found in Oklahoma. The other Daltons were all found in Arkansas.

Don't find any Daltons here in western PA but my sister used to own a farm next to the Wapsipinicon river in Iowa. Found this little guy in one of her tilled fields during a spring visit. It's about 2.25" long and I think the material is Burlington.

Beautiful point paohrocks! I do a lot looking by the Wapsi in Bremer County Iowa. I haven't found a dandy like that one yet though. Thanks for the show and keep on keeping on!

Thanks KurtyG, my sister's farm was in Scott County, way down river from you. Had a nice little collection from that place, an Agate basin, Snyders and a few other pieces. She sold the place about 10 years ago and bought an even bigger farm in Mercer County Illinois.
