Wow that place sure has grown. I haven't seen it in many years since an artist's show there where the guy borrowed 284 beads in a a casebox and I got back 240 strung on fake gut string...... The most interesting thing about the museum is that the very first person who invited me to go digging in Florida was 'Ol Neal Lube, he used to be involved in the museum. Oh boy did he have caseboxes of points!!1! I'd looked for artifacts but never thought one could dig for them LOL and he got me started. We went to a place called the Cone Bros Pit up near Harris Grove/Thonotosassa/Flint CreekProfessor Shellman

I worked with Lube when we built the addition on the back of the museum, also did several mall shows together.. small world...I had stuff stolen from there also, I guess you gotta be grateful he didn’t take em all, lol...Also dug in Cone Bro’s. area, it just wasn’t good to me, I had better luck closer to the river park. see ya later, stay safe.
