Something totally unusual, stacked layers of shadow.

The motion actually goes opposite direction under the same spots. Wish you could see this one in hand.

This is the other half of the previous agate. It often is amazing what change can happen in the thickness of a single saw blade cut. The blade I used on this one is a mere 3/100ths of an inch thick.

Haha Ron, thin slicing agates for recreational purposes is like boiling children just because you want to. It should only be done when you have to.
And now onto today's agate. The feature here is the interesting way the fortification banding got deformed by the escape tube at the bottom, pushing outward on the banding to relieve internal pressure.

The banding gradation, from coarse on the outside, to microscopically tight on the inside is what this agate features. Parallax or shadow is extremely active in the tight area. Add the iron carbonate specks as accent, and this one rings the winner bell.
