I found all of these along the Cedar River in Linn Co., Iowa. I'm thinking they're pisolitic limestone, pyrite nodules and a few geodic fragments. One looks to be 'oolitic' and the other 'botryoidal' (maybe chalcedony)...at least by some definitions and pictures I've seen. The pisolitic limestone (if that's what I have here) consists of calcite and forms concentrically. You can see the layers on some of the nodules. If you know otherwise, let me know. Overall, nothing special but I think they're cool looking. Thanks for looking.
