People giving away their river rocks.
Hi, I've been responding to free, you haul river rocks. This last time, I saw alot of relics in the rocks. I showed the owners and they didn't care. The rocks were put around their pool 13 years ago. What do I do? Can I keep them? Thankyou

As far as I can see if they are giving away the rocks and do not care about the artifacts, which are out of context, then I would say keep them.
And welcome to AH.com :welcome:
Also I am moving your thread into Artifacts Questions and Answers.

If they gave you the rocks, then I'd say you don't have anything to worry about in the US. If you are in some other country, laws will vary.
It's probably worth mentioning that there are a lot of geofacts in certain types of gravels. Lots of eroded fossils, holes, concretions, etc. that can look very artifact like. If you want to post up a picture, we can probably tell you if you've got an artifact or a geofact.
