          Thanks Everyone! Hoss, I think its petrified wood. ? . None of my other pieces are ade out of this material and the only thing I have that come close to resembling the lithics comes outta my petrified wood piles. Tis a small point at only 2 3/16" x 3/4". Neanderthal, I looked up Frederick complex points and can see the resemblance. Thanks for the input. Would you guys like me to take some macro shots of the flaking or can yall see em pretty good? Keep up the hunt -Kenny

            That is pretty material. We don't have material like that in the North East. I do have a flint spear that has translucent edges like that when backlit. My flint one is dull not shiny like your point.
