    I have to admit I haven’t seen that many extra large knifes found in one area except in books and guides. How big is your raw flint cobbles in those creeks?

      that is the crazy part, we have none. just about every chunk of flint rock is from somewhere else. these folks must of had one heck of a flint trade network. most of the flint the big ones are made from are fort payne, but there are some goods ones made from coastal plains chert, horn stone, buffalo river chert and a lot of other flint even seen some big stuff made from tallahatta quartz. most of the smaller points found here are fort payne and jasper. if you watch youtube check out ditchwalker, hes a couple counties over from me and finds some nice stuff.
