Thank you providing additional photos of this point. I have given it much study and still am not ready to offer an ID but I am leaning strongly toward it being a Frazier. I will need just a little more time. These triangular points can often be very hard to ID. By the way there is one other point I had questions about that I can not ID. It is the corner notch point that I would like to help with if I can. So more photos of it or answers to my questions before I can proceed further on that one.Last edited by sailorjoe; 06-08-2022, 09:57 AM.

I am no longer in the lower 48 with my collection of points... but I can tell you what i remember about it... it was fairly thick overall, with one side thicker than the other- possibly 40-50% thicker. The sides were pretty flat, with no median ridge or ellipse. The edges were all pretty sharply beveled. Prob about 45°, maybe a little sharper. The edges were pressure flaked. I don't recall any grinding on the egdes, but the bottom of the base seemed lightly ground. Hope this helps with your ID. Thanks for taking the time to help type these points.

Sailorjoe,
what do you think about new paint valley point rather than Frasier? They have the 'lateral oblique' percussion flakes and pressure flaking on 'some edges, but not all.' Quoating a website here...I understand they are not always accurate, tho....
