Yesterday I was working a field for the umpteenth time and decided to dig every target that was not pure iron.
Once you start doing this it's amazing to see what is still in the ground. :crazy:
Detritus first. It was bottle cap mania for a while.
And shotgun shells galore.
But underneath this a few pennies were hiding.
Including this which will be put in next years fun hunt.
2 days previously was when I found those 7 Chinese cash coins and then the next day it was Spanish silver and this is how Saturday started out.
This one has a barley discernible date of 1915.
And it seams that Canada is not the only place with biodegradable coins now a days.
