I have to say that before I took up metal detecting I walked around just as oblivious to the trash as everyone else.
But now, I am to the point where if I see someone littering I feel like stringing them up by the short hairs.
If I ever feel the need to stop picking up trash I will become a parks worker.
On Friday Jon and I met up for a short hunt at a "new" to us park.
I had to empty my pouch out half way through the hunt. And yet I still came home with this in my pouch. On Saturday my pouch needed to be emptied once again part way through the hunt.
But this time it all came home with me.[
Lately the depth of my finds has been all over the place. Topsy-turvy may be a better way to describe it.
The red Ferrari was down nearly 8" deep (the other two were found together on the surface). And the green corroded loonie in the centre was down around 6" deep. While my favorite nickle showed up less than an inch deep in the same park. This by the way was my only keeper from Friday's hunt. The two days hunting produced some recyclables.
