Well guys and gals, this post picks up right where the last one left off.
If it were not for trying to keep a thyme going this post was going to be called "button button where's the button?"
The star is this day was a button.
The silver didn't hurt.
This British artillery button was the hands down winner for me though.
And the back mark indicates that this button could only be from 1885 to 1886.
There was a little bit of weirdness going on the next day.
I honestly thought that this was a ceramic teapot lid until I turned it over.
I set this war nickel aside because everything under it was in the same hole, only deeper.
And wonder of wonders Johnny this one is NOT an S mint, it is a Denver mint.
