This is a Dudley variety of a Mansion Inn Blade, made of Hingham Rhyolite. Found by my wife in the early 90's, on the banks of a stream near home....

Creek find on those? A good quality black flint will get a sheen like that from water polish. Real nice finds

The Obsidian piece on the left has patina except where the tip break is, that's why it looks so dull, most of my other Obsidian finds are shinier. Some of them came from vineyard plowing, others from the creeks. Also that piece is much older. It was in the ground too.

It looks as though we are all blessed with some awesome lithic material in our regions, I am from NE Ohio and am partial to the Flintridge material, it is also our State gem stone. This is a pic of some lancets/bladlets/small knives I have found in Stark, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.

Coastal Plain Chert, Brier Creek variant. This is some photos of it the upper left point is a modern point made out of it. Which did not pick up the true color of it in photo. It is more redish brown. The other pieces have a more vibrant color but patinates to a duller color over the years.

I guess I should at least post what I think they are
1&2 - heat treated petrified wood
                        3&4 - petrified bog
                        5 - unknown
6 - pink and white banded agate
                        7 - blue agate
