A knife makes sense, I just knew it wasn't natural. No idea on chert type here.

Nice finds Tom - I used to live on Anna Maria Island: this was about 10 yrs. before the collapse of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. I walked those beaches every morning at first light, but nary a sign of any artifacts! What's the wider plummet made of - seems fine grained.

The Black and Tan one could be a spike or a drill. Some spikes do look like dream drills

Someone wanted to see some Divot Stones that I find. These have digits on each fave usually but not always. Most believe these stones were a multi use tool for Hammer, Grinders, Anvils or Nutters. I believe the ones I find are used for all of the terms. Say they use it for grinding for a while then need a hammer or anything else they just used the same rock till it wasnt usable and started over or changed it to what they needed. I have given some of these away and have found others and given them away to the owners. Its the deal you make when you get permission most have grand kids so what can you do but share to keep the look alive make them happy. All N GA personal and surface finds. Could be cap stones to I forgot that one. Maybe the single digit like the 2nd to last one it’s a dense quartzite and very heavy. I still have that one in my collection

While not found all this year, these are things that my dad and I have found and bought over the years. From a killer Ohio river celt, to a US boxplate buckle, to a Georgia Dart point, to a Kentucky Hopewell, we did good. We are very thankful for what we have found.

I would say the top five greatest finds, from greatest, to least:

CS Staff officers button, super rare.
Hopewell, found in Kentucky, made from Flint Ridge chert.
Ohio River Celt made from a large river rock.
                    US Boxplate.
                    Georgia dart point.
